mist eliminator

It is a device mounted on a gas separator container to enhance the removal of entrained droplets in a vapor stream. It is made of aluminum, galvanized steel and stainless steel. When the desulfurization flue gas passes through the metal mist eliminator at a certain speed, the flue gas will change its operation mode rapidly. Driven by inertia and centrifugal force, the droplets collide with the blades and aggregate to form a water stream. Finally, when the droplet forms a larger droplet, it falls off. The most common process design for a demister is a vertical flow, but it is possible to install a demister in a horizontal flow. The choice of blade and design is influenced by the loss of system pressure, the cleanliness of the mist eliminator and the risk of clogging.
