The tube distributor is made up of open-hole tubes of different structural forms. Its outstanding characteristics are simple structure, large free cross section for gas flow, small resistance. But the hole is easy to plug, elasticity is generally small. Tube liquid distributor is very useful, mostly used in the packed tower with medium liquid load. It is often used in vacuum distillation and screen corrugated packed column because of small liquid load. The tube distributor has different shapes such as row tube, ring tube and so on. According to the liquid load, it can be made into single row or double row.

Tubular structure of distribution: exhaust pipe (partial pressure and gravity), uniform liquid distribution, simple structure, easy to support, and of the tower of the space is little, air flow channel is big, small, elasticity of operation limit the scope of 2:1, liquid flow rate is too big perforation increased pressure drop, entrainment and splash, too small makes some tau dry up. Gravity type up to 4:1, it can be used for direct distribution, but also for other forms of pre-distribution distribution, the use of tower diameter cloth is limited, is a more widely used distribution. It has the following characteristics:

1. Liquid distribution, suitable for more spray points and lower liquid load occasions

2. No solid particles are required in the material, and a filter screen should be set at the inlet of the vertical pipe

3. The tube type liquid distributor has good flexibility in operation

4. In the case of high flexibility of operation, double row tube type liquid distributor can be used

5. Suitable for large, medium and small towers
