The screen defoamer is a tightly separated layer with a certain thickness woven by metal wire. It is mounted horizontally in a container and used to remove liquid impurities from the gas. The mist eliminator works on the basis that there are a large number of particles in the steam stream that trap droplets. As gaseous vapor flows vertically through the separation layer, liquid impurities are removed. It is recommended not to use a mist eliminator to deal with dirty media, otherwise it may cause blockage and reduce separation efficiency.
