Very special packing means Very fine packing, also known as Mellor ring packing. The eight-four inner-arc ring packing has reasonable geometric symmetry, good structure uniformity and high void ratio. The eight-arc circle and the four-arc circle are arranged alternately along the axial direction, and each arc section is folded in the radial direction of the inner-arc ring, so that the surface of the packing is continuously open and evenly distributed in the space. The eight-four inner arc ring is characterized by large open area of the ring wall, so it has the characteristics of large flux, low resistance and high mass transfer efficiency.
